Naturally, the poncho is even more adorable for little ones...

They each have a sweet wooden toggle button, securely attached. Perfect for newborns and babies up to four months old.

The Launch of Shnookies

Sunday the 29th of March we launched Shnookies, my range of baby knit wear. It was such a wonderful day and was very well received by all who attended. We invited close family and friends, expecting that if nothing else it would be an opportunity for some great exposure.

Next thing we knew, ever pink garment was sold! There was a tug of war over a poncho and ladies had their potential purchases stacked in secret corners so no one else could get to them. Needless to say, we may have under-priced the garments.

We had some great suggestions from those who came and those who couldn't make it. One of the best was the idea of hosting more afternoon teas at mother's groups. An idea I am VERY excited about.

Until now I have only had a selection of items on etsy but I am going to list my full range in the coming months. I'd say my signature item is the angel top, which looks gorgeous on newborns, for christenings or even for older babies as a lacy shrug.
